Mrs. Doty died in Caldwell. He later married Mrs. Ettie Vickers last Jan. 4 in Reno, He was a well driller in Boise Valley since 1944, and past president of the was a Well Drillers Association.

After finishing school, he worked in and around Nampa until leaving to work at the Portland Shipyards during World After the war he farmed near New Plymouth, and later went back to Portland. He returned to the Boise area and since had worked as a metalsmith for a display sign dealer. He was a member of Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, a Boise; two daughters, Victoria Batie, at home, and Mrs. Jeff (Claudia) Amos, San Pedro, his father, Walter Batie, Fruitland; three brothers, Delmar Batie, Caldwell, Russell Batie, Weiser, and Richard Batie, Wilbur, and three sisters, Mrs. Earl (Rowena) DeCoursey, Mrs. Vern (Roda) Wiland Mrs. Clayton (Norma) Barker, all of Fruitland.

Cynthia Richter ONTARIO Cynthia Lynn Davis Richter, 19, died Saturday in an auto accident near Hailey. She was born Oct. 2, 1950 in Nampa. She had lived in Ontario for the past three and had worked at the Moore Hotel. She was a 1967 graduate of Borah High School.
